Notice from Pitkin Cemetery Board - An Opportunity to Recognize Loved Ones

A Great Opportunity to recognize loved ones

You will be able to memorialize your loved one who loved Pitkin, but is buried elsewhere. This can be done by purchasing a tile with their name on it, which will be placed on the new Rememberance Wall at the Pitkin Cemetery.

The cost is $40 per name and the plaques will be available in the spring of 2020.

Water Use Survey

The Upper Gunnison River Water Conservancy District would like your input!

Playground

Pitkin's new (to us) playground is open! Under the leadership of Parks &, Rec director, Sara Lamar, Pitkin's playground has received a major upgrade! Donated equipment from Crested Butte was disassembled, transported to Pitkin and reassembled thanks to many hours of dedicated service by volunteers. Ground cover and cement were paid for through a generous Metropolitan Recreation grant.
