Town of Pitkin 2025 Special Muncipal Election*
ELECTION DATE: Tuesday, April 8, 2025
BALLOT: This is a Town of Pitkin Special Municipal Election, held to elect a Mayor. The elected Mayor will serve until the next Regular Municipal Election in April 2026.
VOTER INFORMATION: To be eligible to vote in this election, you must be at least 18 years of age; be a citizen of the United States; have been a resident of the Town of Pitkin for at least 22 days preceding the election; and be registered to vote in the Town of Pitkin on Election Day.
ABSENTEE BALLOT APPLICATIONS: Absentee ballot applications are available from the Town Clerk beginning January 8, 2025 and will be accepted through the close of business on April 4, 2025.
NOMINATING PETITIONS: Petitions may be circulated beginning January 7, 2025 and are due by the close of business on January 27, 2025. Petitions found to be insufficient may be amended to replace or correct signatures that are nonconforming through the close of business on February 3, 2025.
ELECTION LOCATION: Polling Place election at the Newcomb Community Center, 801 State St. Polls will be open 7am – 7pm.

Items may be dropped off using the drop basket located next to the front door. While earlier availability on a given day may be possible, at no time will hours be extended to later in the day to accommodate due dates/times for documents.
